Hi, still me, tried to change my avatar to abuse the triangle in the pride progress flag to look kinda like a radio tower.

Not sure it works.

I saw a cartoon about the "straight cis guy with a trans pride sticker on his work laptop" (but now can't find again) and liked the idea, I am usually that guy - but my new-ish work laptop didn't have an sticker.

I made this quickly using my thermal label printer (inspired by one of @heydon@front-end.social t-shirts)

Does anyone on here sell more colourful stickers?

I hate presta valves.

I hate rim brakes.

Can't get the fucking things to stay centred, no idea how to, none of the guides help.

I also hate that we have this many punctures that I had to go buy more tubes and they have presta valves.
(Yes I know I can patch tubes) (yes I know about and use slime)

Is anyone interested in being nerd sniped by optimising my house solar + battery charging?

I have:
* solar panels
* battery storage
* heat pump
* forecast.solar for solar generation forecasts
* grid carbon intensity forecasts
* grid cost data (differing import cost and export pay)

I'd like to minimise cost, minimise carbon, and still have sufficient electricity available.

I'm probablly over thinking it ...

I want to knock up a simple thing.

It should work offline, sync to a server, and be able to share read only views of the data to people.

I think the data could be considered sensitive, so I'd like to do some encryption on it.

Can anyone point me to a mature, secure, open source, library I could use for this?
Or am I considering trying to solve one of those "hard problems" and I'd be better just trying to make the data on the server as anonymous as possible?

Has anyone got a collection of guides on how to add image descriptions for all of the different mastodon/fediverse clients?

It's not an obvious feature, and I want to make it easy for people to do. But I don't have an iPhone so I could only help with Android apps..
