A significant difference I have noticed about being a #GreenPartyEW member after being a #LabourParty member is the tone of the emails I receive. Labour rarely asked me to get involved and always asked for a monetary donation. Green emails however are all about what I can offer as a person - sign up for this, join in with that.
This is the best way to fight the capitalist funded right and centre, and what enabled the amazing result last Thursday

@EarthOrgUK @ChrisMayLA6 many Scottish wind farms in curtailment, due to the lack of infrastructure to get the energy south I presume. And yet, there are proposals to build a nuclear plant in... Scotland 🙄

@blogdiva@mastodon.social are they out to kill the fediverse too? Server costs are going up because of all this. Is the ultimate aim to price us out of existence?

@MinDBreaK@mastodon.social you hit the nail on the head there - this is a grumpy old country 😡
@britt@mstdn.games I'm soooo sad, my son would adore one of your skateboard fidgets 😭 I really don't like being British!

@FSonder@mastodon.ie so true. Also, playing video games is another great side by side activity for engaging with your kids.
What a twat 😡
"Flying is responsible for 2.4% of global greenhouse gas emissions and 8% of UK emissions"
"but she takes steps like eating a pescetarian diet and using a green energy tariff to offset the impact"
I repeat, what a TWAT!

@AlexGallagher@mastodon.scot 🤔 Not my understanding of the data presented here.
92 pledges "made", only 20 actually "delivered". 31 off track, dropped or otherwise abandoned
#drummers Please can you help my son with his project.
Which drive mechanism do you have on your kick pedal(s)?
Please boost for visibility 😊

@inherentlee@flipping.rocks I love coloured mounts which pick out just that little bit in the picture. Its like you eyes do that "colour pop" photo edit all by themselves 😊
(NB I photograph all my pieces as I frame them without glass for exactly that reason!)

@britt@mstdn.games @MinDBreaK@mastodon.social Thank you 😊 International shipping is such a nightmare, I do know! I can only sell outside the UK on an individual basis as tarrifs, taxes and regs change so often I can't set up standard charges. My work is hand stitched art and could fit into various tariff codes!

@Oscii@mastodon.org.uk I managed to have music lessons with peripetetic teachers during PE lesson for the entirety of my high school years! Never did PE, hated it. My only positive memory is playing rugby (league) at middle school - I loved the mud, but was still hopeless at it 🤣

@Oscii@mastodon.org.uk during the covid lock down my son was given free reign to do whatever he wanted for PE - so long as it was exercise. He taught himself to skateboard. Now he skates whenever he can and its really good for him - fresh air, exercise and meeting like minded people. PE curriculum needs to get out of the box

@eazy@autistics.life I haven’t had a best friend since I was 9 - 50 years ago (even then I thjnk it was more of a "tick the box") I have lots of ND friends however, IRL and online.
