It's significant that Ed Miliband's first visible act as Foreign Secretary is to push climate action up the agenda.
Well done to him, I say.

Breaking: UEFA lays into Infantino.....
"This is not merely a profound failure of leadership, but an abdication of FIFA’s duty as the custodian of world football.
"This is not a “democratic decision”, but governance by intimidation – an act of coercion unworthy of an institution entrusted with the stewardship of the global game"
And much more...

Reform accused of using third party to turn crypto into cash and hide donors.
Digital currency donations have been turned into sterling to make them much less easy to track, sources say
I mean, Who is surprised?
It's always Labour that makes the difference.
"I got elected for Reform but I don't know what I'm doing and it's all your fault.

I have attached my letter in the Herald today (below).
The published letter is edited for length, so is a bit shorter. You can find it online at the Herald letters page, here...

Will you? Hell no!
Labour delivers.73 pledges delivered.... and counting..
Looks good to me. Saving money, saving the planet.
Labour will end the ferry fiasco n Scotland's west coast and islands..
Cancellations have sky-rocketed because of the SNP’s failure to upgrade Scotland’s lifeline ferry fleet.

Excellent letter in yesterday's Herald. Why is anyone considering voting nationalist again? They're the definition of incompetent. Scotland can do better.
Scottish Nationalism, like all nationalisms, depends on myths and grievances. One such is the insult that Scotland is "too wee and to poor" to be independent. In fact it's an insult created, not by their opponents, but by nationalists themselves to confuse the debate.

I'll pass on your endorsement. I'm sure he'll be thrilled.
😢
This is an astonishing statistic. In England Labour is fixing the NHS but in Scotland the SNP is destroying the NHS.
Brian Wilson nails the SNP failure on ferries.
"So politics and ferries are inseparable because that is the way the Scottish Government has chosen to make it. Every decision which has led to the current dismal state of affairs has, to lesser or greater degree, been taken politically."

She was hounded for weeks over a mistake.
Polanski broke the law. Should he not be hounded for weeks? Or is there one law for him and another for Labour politicians?

@tompearce49@mastodon.scot John Swinny hasn't challenged the numbers so I assume they're correct.
That said, the only sensible reason to compare NHS regions or trusts is to see which is delivering the "best" service to the population and see if the better process is transferable to other regions or trusts. Which is what Wes Streeting is doing in England.

@Simon318ppm@mastodon.sdf.org Agree Simon. Polanski should be held to the same standards as Angela Rayner et al. She resigned for a mistake due to confusion and misunderstanding. Polanski should explain why he shouldn't resign.

The SNP has failed. It's time for a change. There are many marginal constituencies in Scotland. This website tells us how to vote to stop another 5 disastrous years of the nationalist SNP.
