The NWS graphic for my location indicates about 20% cloud cover all day. In real life it's been completely overcast since dawn.

I can't help but think this is an effect of DOGE cuts; this forecast used to be remarkably reliable but it's been off for some months now.

@EugeneMcParland I don't pretend to be an expert, but it does seem like the life of a Russian POW in a Ukrainian prison would preferable to the life of a Russian soldier. Hot meals, a warm bed, and no NK or penal units stationed behind you to shoot you if you fail to advance, let alone try to retreat.
