WTF
The Trump administration is planning to evict 950 bison from their grazing pastures on federal lands in Montana.
An estimated 60 million bison once roamed the plains of North America before white settlers decimated the population. Bison were often hunted directly from trains after the construction of the American railroads in the 1800s.
The slaughter eventually reduced the population to just a few hundred in the 1880s.

The Bison and Native people are intertwined.
What happens to the Bison, happens to the Native people.
What happens to the Native people, happens to the Bison.
We were slaughtered together. We recovered together.

As of last Friday, end-to-end encryption for Instagram direct messages is no longer available. DMs that you send to people on Instagram will no longer feature full encryption, and your conversations are not protected from Meta.
Meta can potentially see what's in messages shared between users on Instagram, and that information can be shared with law enforcement agencies worldwide.

UPDATE 04-20-2026 - I am happy to say the Mastodon organization has heard our cries; they are listening; I have some very warm feelings about the Mastodon organization of today. I hope to have a series of great news announcements soon, stay tuned!

Alrighty, just sent in my Mvskoke Nation special election ballot. Among a few other things, this election will change the official name of the tribe from 'Muscogee (Creek) Nation' to 'Mvskoke Nation'. I'm sure it will pass in a landslide.
