@inthehands I really am astounded just how clueless some of these people seem to be about their users. It's the same with Firefox eagerly aping Google for an audience of people who are exclusively using Firefox because it isn't Chrome. I'd say it's like the Kentucky Derby accepting Pritt Sticks as a sponsor, but I genuinely think that might land better.
For a long time now I've been thinking about writing a fantasy book in which scrappy witches/wizards create their own spells and magical artefacts in a world where most people simply buy them from various Dark Lords (at great cost - and not just financially). The trouble is I'm very aware that actual literal Palantir exists as a company and that makes even the most heavy-handed analogy feel pointless here.

@devnull@mamot.fr @meshtastic@mastodon.social I'm using it in GrapheneOS having got hold of it via F-Droid. 🤷 I agree ePub documentation would be nice, but I don't see how bundling it with the app makes it "harder" to get hold of anywhere else: it's readily available online, and if you really wanted to you could make and distribute an ePub yourself.

Also, there'll be people out there who paid for several months in advance and can't back out now even though they might want to, so on balance I imagine Mullvad will be getting more money people would rather not give them (at least in the short term) than they'll be losing from people taking a refund they're fully entitled to.

It's patently untrue, and I would have thought the candidate(s) being lied about could take some sort of legal action.
