I'm an imperfect human who does his best at being a feminist and LGBTQ+ ally, and generally a kind person.
I do something called Enterprise Architecture as a job.

It’s also interesting to see that most people who leave Mormonism do it to be atheists rather than staying Christian.
They’re putting people off religion altogether.

More than this, they also want it to be impossible to create software without renting all the tools from a capitalist.
They're trying to end the era of anyone being able to ship software using cheap commodity hardware and free tools.

This one really got me
“And then there was a bunch of people, so that was wonderfully overstimulating, so I had to put on a smile — "Yay, I'm suffering on the inside! Too many people!" Had to pretend I was an extrovert.”

Female genital mutilation is banned and infant circumcision should be as well for all the same reasons.
The individual can make their own decision later in life.
There are lots of old cultural and religious practices that are now known to be harmful or toxic. None of them should get a free pass.

I wonder how much of that is because of European colonialism or because office work was invented there and everyone just copied it.

It will be interesting to see how exposed the banks are to all the fraudulent financial dealings related to AI.

This is turbo annoying when it comes to physical devices that need an app to be useful.
Lots of devices are being bricked because the vendor can’t be arsed to keep the servers running or provide an offline mode.

The FTSE 100 is dominated by huge banks and oil companies, which are doing well in a climate of higher interest rates and oil prices.

This is not the first such programme. Iceland has had an Artists’ Salary Fund in some form since 1891.

I reckon Apple Pay might be the most secure option with Google Pay in second place. I use the former exclusively because it means I don’t even need to take my wallet anywhere. I’m in the UK and contactless dominates here.
+1 on credit cards because of the increased protections.
Also, none of my physical cards have embossed numbers any more so it’s trivial to tape over them.

I’m using that the next time I order 2 of something at a restaurant. It’s totally correct but super unusual where I live.

I agree.
My point was more that requiring them to hold a UK driving license would force Waymo to hire UK-based drivers which would undermine their business model of exploiting low paid workers in other countries.

£40k is the median salary in the UK. To save £20k each they both need to be in the top 10%.

Waymo uses remote workers in the Philippines to drive their cars.
Maybe start by requiring them to hold a UK driving license.

I often wonder if neuro-typical people feel this way or if they just dissociate and retreat into their own bubble of mindless consumerism.
There seem to be people out there who are entirely unbothered by the current state of affairs.

It's only a matter of time before they invent a derogatory term for someone who thinks cyclists should have the right use the road, like how they invented the term jaywalking.

Same with alcohol. I’ve also been fired and reprimanded for sharing my thoughts on how I think leadership is inept and not interested in fixing issues or doing good work.
These narcissists would flip their shit if everyone came to them with 1000x more thoughts about how things should be done, which is why I think we should do it (minus the brain implant).
