start slow, walk a lot, we've all made the mistake of starting too fast

Despite 2 glasses of rosé (or maybe because of) during family bbq, managed 14k, 700mEG of #trailrunning.
Bit hot but nature is splendid.
Small hike this morning with visiting friends, to harvest acacia flowers for cakes.
Friends left and i went for Soubran. Sky was quite clear and sunny but during the descent I spotted this huge black cloud slowly coming .
I won the race against the storm : downpour and some hail started 2mn after I got home

Pleasant and easy stage. No nav issues except the whole route is too long for whaoo element GPS to do therouting... Might need to split by day.
Weather perfect, cloudy and cool.
At noon, teen 2 's saddle bolt got loose. I then found out we had forgotten the tools, repair kit and spare tube...
After some questioning we decide to keep going. Tomorrow we're passing by a city with a sport goods shop .
We rode so good at 14h30 we were arrived at campsite.

OK family coming, so no proper adventure this weekend . instead yesterday was a nice 10k hike with teen 2, a couple basketball shots with teen 1. A good day.

i am not switching to biking, i just added biking as cross training.
So far mostly indoor biking but i got a taste of gravel biking ( https://randomized.hadoly.fr/2026/03/30/1st-gravel-experience/ and randomized.hadoly.fr/2026/04/16/week-15-16/)
loved it, actually looking foward to the gravel bike i have ordered.
I find biking way easier than running. It's very hard for me to run in z2, while i have no problem biking at low intensity (and still keeping a decent speed).

Ptn je suis en colère et au 36ème dessous. Je sors d'un rdv avec le prof principal de ado2, en seconde . ll n'a pas les résultats pour aller en général ni techno, et très peu de chance d'aller en pro. Et aucune motivation à redoubler . l'État et l'EN a littéralement gâché un gamin plein de capacités. C'est consternant.

When I ran the fsck command i forgot the -y flag or the yes pipe hack.
It ran for a couple hours before asking questions. Did not want to start over, hence the screwdriver hack
