I am not very fit, and I would like to get more fit. I’m planning to run a 10k next April, and I’m looking for recommended programs to follow. I’ve tried using Runna, but the reality is that I sometimes miss a run or two and the app doesn’t seem to account for that. Neither does it adjust based on how easy or difficult I found a run to be. So the guided runs are frequently way off the mark for an appropriate difficulty. #running

> In the meantime, if you see someone posting “Notepad++ is finally on Mac!” on Reddit, Twitter, Mastodon, Discord, StackOverflow, or any tech blogs/forums, please reply with: “This is not an official Notepad++ release. It’s an unauthorized project misusing the Notepad++ trademark.”, and include a link to this announcement.

Can anyone recommend good #accessibility and #ux resources for building dense, data-rich web user interfaces? Users tend to be expert power users comfortable with staring at large, dense tables of information and working with complex tools. #a11y

@soph@grrl.me the capitalism machine is a gaslighting machine. “Do more, faster, with less” has always been priority number one. In that context, efficiency (or the perception of it) really is the only thing that matters.

Great game, but I’d like to have a word with whoever thought it was a good idea to pump cheap pine tree scent into Target Center. Gave me a headache, and I’m not a person generally sensitive to that shit. Maybe don’t do that again

You ever go to the doctor, they hand you a clipboard of stuff to fill out, then they’re actually ready for you quickly but you haven’t finished filling out the stuff and you explain that but they say that’s alright and take it away?

I hate that.

@soph@grrl.me it’s not just you. But I also cannot find work at a place that understands this. Every company seems to be fully bought in, or at the very least convinced they need to use AI to “keep up with the industry”, as if it wasn’t always *the quality of what you make* that actually matters. I don’t know what to do
