@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social I'll give you *my* Trump check for a tenner!

@merill@infosec.exchange I have to admit one of the reasons I use the web application for Outlook on my phone is because installing the Outlook app and adding my work account to it would in theory give work access to control (parts of) my phone - which I don't want. I didn't think the authenticator alone would give that level of access to the device though! Is this likely to just drive more people to switch to using Google's authenticator (or another TOTP app) instead of the Microsoft one? I do anyway, because I was already using it for other sites, and it was easier to have them all in one place. You'd lose push authentications: but I feel safer without those anyway!

@craiggrannell@mastodon.social It's funny really - I'm surprisingly strict with myself and not pirating stuff, waiting for things to be available on a platform I have access to. And yet even I'm totally up for ripping my own CDs to listen to them on other devices.

@GwenfarsGarden@rage.love I'm honestly finding it hard having a frozen shoulder which limits my movements and causes pain and might last two to three years. I can only send love.

@SeaFury It's especially useful for sorting the DPNs to get matched set!

@pndc@social.treehouse.systems I wish I had the money/authority to say come spend a couple of months fixing/rewriting a couple of legacy in-house applications for us, but I don't. Good luck!

@ifixcoinops@retro.social <3

@c_dan4th I think I've met about 20% of the people I follow here. although I had to do a mental double check with some of the people I've known online forever as to whether we were actually ever in the same physical place. Nowhere near all my friends though :)

@redsad@ohai.social Honestly, I've met ants, and they wouldn't turn their noses up at beans on toast!

@FanCityKnits :) Hello. This one's a bit more recent. Can't beat a good shade of purple!

@amyshark [Is it just me who wants to redraw those knitting needles to actually be straight and the same length?] Solidarity from the UK!

@SeaFury@aus.social now I want a glass of bitter lemon :)

@SeaFury (Not that I have any of the interchangables, but I do have lots of DPNs and some of their fixed circulars)

@emma@fedi.emmajuettner.com Mine are always more mundane horrible bathrooms I'm afraid - the eldritch vibe would be an improvement over merely non-working or overflowing ones!

@henryseg That is *neat*

@HollieK72 @dec23k I'm thinking here mostly of the DNA path in Cambridge, which is a shared route for bikes and pedestrians, completely away from the roads, but which was built too small for how popular it has become.

@Fragglemuppet they're both yum: but I still like cauli *more*

@happydisciple AFP, Livejournal, and the Cambridge geek crowd may all have been quite well represented.

@eclectech@things.uk These are wonderful! I love how you've lined them up in the triptych too.

@ryan the 5th of April?

@SoftwareTheron@mas.to @craiggrannell@mastodon.social The inconsistency is in how much I'm willing to bend the *legal* rules, not the moral ones.

@joe 100kg me rode a bakfiets short non-electric quite happily, but I suspect you want something more longtail than big box? I'm afraid the exchange rate and the availability of european bikes in Aus is rather beyond me.

@AlexGallagher What if you're already old (well, 50) and you only had one kid? Do I get penalised in retrospect?

@ninawillburger@social.anoxinon.de No string needed to escape this one!

@starhawk@dice.camp I probably only get about half the references, but this is utterly delightful.

@afewbugs@social.coop @quixoticgeek@social.v.st first floor is rather harder! (Upstairs one room has blackout blinds which helps, and then the bathroom/loo we just shut the doors, to keep them isolated from the rest of the house.)

@quixoticgeek@social.v.st Oooh, I am now extremely tempted to try rigging one of these over the kitchen window and one over the patio doors. If I can find cup-hooks with a suitable size screw diameter for my wall plugs I could bungee it on at the corners...

@stella@wetdry.world Oh! Your mum is awesome! 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵

@emery I would never have thought of lace cables, but this is really rather lovely, even if not entirely intentional!

@Waxingtonknee is my Gmail address I've had since 2004 considered disposable here?

@0xabad1dea How many stars make 5? A star, a star, a star and a half, half a star and a star.

@I_am_a_plant@mastodon.art Wow!

@faraiwe@mstdn.social Might be worth trying reader mode. Works well for cookie popups (but not always) dunno how good it is for ad blocker popups.

@SecureOwl@infosec.exchange presumably in the utopia future there are no longer 2 hour check-in rules :)

@jyrgenn@mas.to Mostly I just save them in my password manager these days, which kind of makes them a bit less "second" factor, but improves convenience.

@matuzo@front-end.social Connolly?

@unluckyhaircut@corneill.es j'adore qu'on dit "grenouiller" aussi. Je ne peux pas distinguer les erreurs, mais je comprends.

@Troggie I've had two, both fairly minor but definitely pain. Remind me to come back again and let you know how the next one goes! (20th May)

@endrift@social.treehouse.systems Including work devices which I use at home? Or only ones owned by me?
