since some of you have asked for a pattern - my mum doesnt knit by patterns so she doesnt really know how to write one either; she tried writing some stuff down but it didnt really take any form that would be helpful to anyone but her. shes a sock knitter by heart, so what she made here is essentially a sock with holes. she used 3mm needles and the yarn pictured below. she started with 120 stitches at the top (head side); each piece between the fins starts at a third of that, so 40 stitches.
the original inspiration for this project were the photos for this crochet pattern, made for big blåhajar: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1871142791/blahaj-sweater-crochet-pattern
there is also this post by @bunthoernchen@chaos.social who knitted a shark sweater as well with a more professional, less socky method :3 https://chaos.social/@bunthoernchen/113402993162784372
i hope this info can be of use to someone wanting to make their own shark clothes

@coolandnormal@aus.social in my experience the interaction can also work without the second part, like this: "hey nerds~" - "fuck me
"
"anyway after a short stay in this paradoxical land of wet and dry i shall be ascending to the cloud where i belong ( @stella@mastodon.catgirl.cloud )
sure do love when someone comes back and just immediately starts advocating for the death penalty

help why is there a conspiracy theory in the linux kernel fandom that a trans girl and some other guy who happened to quit at similar times are the same person

nothing makes me chuckle more than the american guy reacting to german memes being intensely uncomfortable with the german slang term "digga"
there should be a minecraft mod that lets you capture mobs like in mario odyssey
https://modrinth.com/mod/woodwalkers comes close, but its mechanics are still a little different. but its api may be useful for recreating the capturing mechanic

@kdj8@kitsunes.club genuinely it would make my life so much easier if i didnt have to think about what to eat all the time and just had a nice simple healthy thing to chew on as a default

@Sparkwave@wetdry.world i dont mean capture in the pokemon sense
i mean the odyssey sense where you literally become the creature and control it and then later you leave it again
