Soccer mom to 2 awesome humans. Mostly. Frontal lobe issues arise. 🤦♀️. Married to fantastic dude I met in 2000. Owned by a dozy dog. 1st gen Scot-Canadian.
Trying to be a good person despite the current US government. Winging most of life. In Oregon, USA.
This is my driveway. And my front lawn. And the tree we share with our neighbors. Note the deer hiding on the sidewalk? It’s not a great photo because there’s a dog on a leash in my one hand and I’m trying to take this photo without scaring the baby deer or dropping my phone whilst primarily using the other. What is the border collie/Dalmatian doing? Nothing. Not a neuron firing. Does not see the deer. Just wants to walk toward it. #bodatians #dogsofmastodon #potatobrain
I’ve been told my boy will be bullied for his cooling/soothing shirt. I think he should let his freak flag fly. Besides, he’ll never know what the other dogs are saying - he’ll bee too busy looking for a bug to eat. #potatobrain #dogsofmastodon
I know this isn’t an original thought, but I need to scream into the void and my hubbie/kids/dog are tired of me: why TF are any journalists of any integrity attending the #WhiteHouseCorrespondentsDinner tonight?
Obviously, there’s the question of integrity. There’s another about what it means to be a #journalist vs a #correspondent, given some of the invitees. And there are fame chasers who will abase themselves for the angry orange and ask for another one.
But, it’s SO sad. 🙄🤯🤬
I’m not sure if this is national or just local, but worth checking out.

I don’t think I understand the meaning of “cease fire.” Or “human rights.” Or “war crimes.” Or a whole lot of other things I learned in my International Criminal Law class. I also don’t understand why so many countries/humans are content on the sidelines. #WeAreTheWorld?
RE: @ISawTheWood@mastodon.scot
Keep using that #AI just for funsies. Never mind the water and other resources it depletes. It’s not like there are fires to fight or droughts to deal with. Heaven forfend you do a plain internet search or draft a document using your own brain. Keep the memes coming, orange man. #environment over #ai
The #TartanArmy has discovered the #BostonCopSlide. Let’s just say that #MenInKiltsWithBagpipes > #Cops

I’m rooting for a lightning strike on the cage, biting black flies, and rabid bats. I won’t be sad if there’s a tornado, a swarm of midges, and Ebola- or otherwise infected mosquitoes. #my250celebration
#coldwarptsd peeps - how are we doing? I wasted too much time trying to figure out when the #ceasefire officially ends before realizing that it doesn’t matter because it ends when the oafish orange decides it ends. I’ve already got belly pains. 😱
Yes, sir, I can boogie. :blobcat_flagScotland:

Last year, my son & his BFF made history as the first 2-person team in OR’s #CivicsLearningProject & the US’s #CenterforCivicsEducation history to win the #WethePeople competition, an honor later bestowed as a co-win with their state “rival.” It was a privilege to see the knowledge, camaraderie, & professionalism of kids from all 50 states.
This year, my son has been coaching those “rivals.” All participants bring hope in dark days. Go #OrWild!

With what you are getting paid, for the amount of student debt you owe, for the hours of stress involved in bar passage + 3 years of law school, + 4 years of college, and the oath you swore to uphold the Constitution and the Rules of Ethics, did no neuron ever fire to suggest maybe lying to a court by filing an AI-generated pleading when you know that’s cheating is dumb AF?! 🤦♀️
