@adipoeserPursch @Tutanota Work laptop is not my laptop. I don't have control over it. When I have to connect it to my home WiFi I give it the guest subnet, so it can only go to the outer internet and connect to its work VPN. I don't consider that whole setup as my own.

@tek@freeradical.zone Very true! And it seems to happen not once but all the time in many different facets of life. What I noticed is that many people fail to cope with that feeling and defer the escalation to an imaginary authority which frustrates me the most.

The keyword here is "they have". If one doesn't have the information then there's nothing to hand over. Meta is bad not because they complied with the subpoena but because they collect and store all that information. Don't want to be evil? - just don't collect unnecessary data. Simple as that. But Meta won't stop collecting data. User data is the oil of their business model.

Whatsapp is not an entirely encrypted messaging app. It encrypts only the content of the messages which lets them claim to be one. But in reality this is the only piece Whatsapp encrypts. It has all the metadata, for example, such as who calls whom and when with exact timestamps, open and available. Whatsapp can and will lead the police, government, cartels, or whatever to you from one of your contacts.

If you make your employees install your 2FA onto their personal devices then you should expect them to check all the notifications and updates and scroll all the conversations in all apps in the devices every time they (re)login into your system.

@TechConnectify What reduced my stress level was getting rid of this terrifying contraption recently by a suggestion from the HVAC guy whom I hired to replace the dated furnace in my house. Checking and fixing insulation around window- and door frames brought more comfort than this air duct destroyer ever could before.
But your video certainly brought me joy as always for which I'm eternally grateful.

No. Yours is no different, except that stupid label that you purchased from USDA. You think it will let you charge premium for essentially same product at best. But due to the limitations the requirements of organic labeling incur the "organic" produce is oftentimes inferior than the their conventional counterparts.
