West Seattle! Beware this huge bald-faced hornet nest. It’s a SW 40th and Alaska in front of the Jiffy Lube hanging just over the sidewalk. I reported to the city and put up a sign.

@tommi@pan.rent @_elena@mastodon.social Oh no, this does not bode well for me trying to convert my v3 from #Meshtastic to #Meshcore.
Anyway, here’s some bubbles I photo’d last week against a beautiful sky as a wallpaper for you.

@_elena@mastodon.social The fedi is truly neighbors meeting neighbors: by geography, interest, need, cats or moss. It’s what the internet felt like when it started reaching people via modems before everything became a place for large companies to plaster with ads.

@leemadgwick@mastodonapp.uk Amazing! Just found your work and am blown away by the craft and realism. The lighting you choose combined with your subjects reminds me of some of the masters of realism I remember seeing in Louvre when I visited back in school (I’m in the US). Thx for sharing with us/the world!

@ultranurd And, during initial public outreach meetings 7+ years ago, when we dared to question two stations too close together, reps said “something something lawyers something legal obligation to build what voters approved.” They should’ve fast tracked and started building then. Unfortunately, not worth it at their current cost estimates (much as I want it in my neighborhood).
Our star as seen earlier today from West Seattle.

@timstevens@mastodon.social @arstechnica@mastodon.social Super fascinating place, thanks for transporting us there. It’s a really interesting approach especially to autonomy (in a more clinical, permissive setting) compared companies here (ask forgiveness after the fact). Hopefully it finds some great uses!
Also, curious, was there any sign of anything hydrogen there? Seemed they were all in on it until very recently shifting to EV in collab with Subaru.
Cheers and nice work, Tim!
