Also, he was arrested for "being an inconvenience". (A single man does not a crowd make, nor could he obstruct anything while standing at the chain link fence.) Brave? Sure. Free? Not so much. @intothewestaway Add to that, the English text the AI "enhanced" was written by a Swedish national who never had their Queen's English or Oxford commas hammered into them since birth. Absolutely conversant, but with a twist that many non-native people have. The local context matters, as does the objectively ill chosen words (from a style perspective), that reference local system names, internal abbreviations and acronyms.

@nirak Not saying all LLMs are completely useless. My wife has always had trouble expressing herself in writing, so she now uses an LLM to help her put into text what she is struggling to write herself. In a “I'll know it when I see it” type of way, she recognises which version of a rough idea aligns with what she wants to communicate. However, this is for simple marketing copy, precision is language is not required (and probably not even desired). It stands to reason that a large language model can have some utility assisting in language related tasks, but it's a wide jump of undeserved faith to ask it for anything and everthing.

@inthehands My kids turned out fine too, appreciating talented musicians and bands from back in the day. It was such sweet sound hearing my 12 yo son tuned to the “80s Station” or “Classic Rock” as he roamed around in GTA…
