mastodon 4.7.3Comic artist, MoA in history of religions.
I've worked for months trying to avoid this, but things are bleak now. Managing my parents' estates have pushed me so far in the red that I don't have any money for the bills that needs to be paid at the end of July (neither for food after that). My crowdfund is on ko-fi, so you can pick jpgs as tokens of gratitude. Please help me so I can draw comics about vikings and the Silk Roads.

Where do you prefer to buy printed objects and art when you support an artist?
(Boosts welcome! Thanks!)
A Chinese Mountain Village (watercolour pencil test), and Licencing Troubles - a botched filming of a snail xianxia scene. You can grab a printable for as little as $1 and help me through my last term of storyboard and comics studies. Pick one, print it, and put it were they least expect it!

I haven't made a silly poll in ages! Academics, necromancy should fall under...?
A sea serpent vacationing in the Baltic Sea (watercolour pencil test), and the snail air force winging it. You can grab a printable for as little as $1 and help me through my last term of storyboard and comics studies. Pick one, print it, and put it were they least expect it!

New entries in the Snail And Art Parade! This time it's a colour sketch of a waterfall, and the first part of Toad Astrologer- that you may recall from last fall. You can grab a printable jpg for as little as $1 and help me through my last term of storyboard and comic studies. (If you liked the last ones they're still in the shop.)

If you're heading to Nordsken or the Stockholm International Comics Festival (SIS26) you can buy Medlefors Serieantologi where my snails have a section. An excellent excercise in learning Swedish since they're enhanced with (*star glitter*) subtitles! Get a copy and learn a bit more about the secret lives of molluscs!
(Boosts appreciated! Thank you!)

iQiyi has put Fangs of Fortune under the category "Inspirational". I agree. While I can't for the life of me tell what the drama is about - or what it inspires - it weirdly still is...
Today in Fun With Symbolism; it's autumn ginko leaves, but they look like the yellow joss papers (?) thrown around at funerals, underscoring that the character is walking towards his execution. A Western equivalent would be extremely dark and soggy fall leaves or smoldering soot flakes. (Western productions also tend to double down on doooom music, but that's hard to capture in a still.)
Friends. This may be prematurely, but the thought of putting some of my Snail and Art Parade items on print amuses me. Do you have any good tips for suitable POD services?
Edit: It's easy to find POD services, but it you have tips about those who don't do dirty stuff (like selling out content for AI training or being headed by unfresh people) I'm all ears!
Please boost!
The Snail And Art Parade is experiencing hickups while I'm caring for Alea the Black Cat. Let me take this opportunity to say while collect funds for my education is an important part, my main aim with it is to make you smile ~two times a week. So here's a sneak peak of what's to come. I've got landscape paintings from places along the Silk Roads, the odd fantady pic, more snails living slow in the fast lane, and boobies* lined up for you!
