Holy moly I have been seeing some batshit bonkers YouTube ads recently. I know they’ve been “bad” a long time, but more intense weirdness is showing up for me now. Fully artificial in all aspects, and with violent hallucinogens dialed up to 11. There was one today with the Lego movie promoting reptilian illuminati. The ones for medications show bizarre and graphic symptoms.
I only ever go there just to look up songs to share! Guess this is the final push to me not using it *ever* even for that.

In seriousness though I say yes from two angles: 1) all parts of Earth are alive, even the inorganic bits being part of the larger organism. 2) rivers are systems just as complex as we are, bursting with microorganisms, and able to be healthy or sick as a system.

Do we have any Jitsi meet experts on here? I want to record my meetings, and it’s proven to be a PITA. The official Jitsi answer is like “log in to Github and download this package, then open the terminal, and install on the command line, but oh btw you also have to have three other terminal processes installed that you have to figure out on your own.” No. Ostensibly I can record screen and sound from the control center of my iPhone, and it works in testing, but every time I try to record an actual meeting, it only saves the video, with no sound. Is there a secret trick or obstacle? What can I do?

It didn’t occur to me to look up the word “ostrich” until I saw the Spanish word for it “avestruz”. The ave (bird) revealed that “os” is the same as the aus in auspicious. So, bird what? Turns out strich/struz means “sparrow”, so ostrich means “bird sparrow”. But wait! Apparently sparrow was historically used as a generic term for all kinds of birds. So an ostrich is a bird bird!

But within a few years, so many mainstream people were getting visible tattoos that nobody cared anymore; and then rap/pop stars started doing face and neck, to where mine looked dainty and quaint. By now, mine (originally purple) have faded so much that you have to squint to even notice them. Guess I can sell out now! 😄

Disabled and disadvantaged people often say “revolution will kill us first, and you armchair revolutionaries have no plan to protect us or provide the services we need.”
Bitter revolutionaries say revolution means some people will die, get over it, it’s an unavoidable part of the change that must come.

He had a gallery/museum space in CA back then, I think around Marin? Anyway he and my father both told me the skulls were fake, but I didn’t believe them. Here is a cyclops skull right in front of me, what do you mean it’s not real?
