The results of the Emotional support chicken workshop. I learnt a LOT about teaching 😄🥰
Look at this 70's smasher. I cannot wait to investigate this book, it has crochet, sewing and knitting projects.
I shelled out a whole £2.50 in the Red Cross charity shop on the strength of an Aran crochet blanket pattern. If I actually manage to start a project, I'll share progress.

Doing the thing is way easier than teaching the thing.
Easily double the amount of time you think a project might take.
Even if you think you understand the process, you don't if you can't explain it to someone else.

One of the beginners decided that increasing the stitch count to make a flat circle was not on the cards for her yesterday, and lo, a tiny pixie hat was created. And then another crotcheter decided that a hat suited his chicken better than a comb. Cute, no?
