We are slowly preparing for our first hike with a tent and night in the woods. I’ve got a #turbad tent for three made in #Ukraine, and a #regatta backpack on discount. There is still a lot we don’t have. For example, my daughter doesn’t have any proper clothes and shoes. Also we need sleeping bags and pads.

We are renting a part of the old mansion together with a part of its basement. It also has a small dirt area where my wife started gardening. On a second gardening season, I found out that there was a watering hose running from the basement to the garden. It was detached from the pipe and left in the basement twisted.
The hardest part of recovering this watering system was to push a hose through a small 3-meter-long tunnel from the basement to the garden. But now we have water!

There are no good clients for macOS and iOS.
I think I tried all of them. #Monal is a lesser evil.
There is also #Fluux that is very good and really looks like software from the current century, but it still doesn’t support encryption.

I replaced #LooseIt with a #selfhosted #SparkyFitness.
A new fitness tool usually boosts my motivation to return to calorie counting and exercising. So today, a new attempt to lose weight has started. Usually, all my attempts are successful, but not permanent.
I now feel myself comfortable enough with #postgresql to have a single database server for many services I’m #selfhosting. I think I’ll do this for my private services used by me and my family. Public ones will still have a separate DB server each.
Made a return to the retail #WorldOfWarcraft with my wife. Need to say it’s not that bad. Time walking is a killer feature for returning players. Also, a lot of good addons made their way to the core game. We even finally have merged bags!
And housing! I was dreaming about this almost 20 years ago. Maybe someday we will get #WoW on handhelds. Maybe in another 20 years.
