Data Jar got sherlocked, and that genuinely makes me happy.
This is something that should have been built into Shortcuts a long time ago. That's why I built Data Jar in the first place.
Thanks, Data Jar. We had a good run.
I was interested in a car and called because the listing didn’t add up. It turned out the listing was incorrect. The seller blamed AI for generating it.
If a company excuses mistakes by pointing to AI, they aren’t ready to rely on it. You can’t blame AI, because it can’t take responsibility. Own the mistake.
Using AI shouldn’t be an excuse to lower the bar of your product.
I resubmitted both apps and noticed this:
It can take up to 48 hours to be reviewed.
🙃
Insisting on having “Call” as a primary action in a Siri AI result is such a “We don’t get how people use AI”-move from Apple.
Shipping critical alerts in brrr feels like a bigger milestone than expected.
Not because it was a lot of work, but because I’d more or less given up on it.
My first request for the Critical Alerts entitlement got rejected before launch, so I shelved it. Then I tried again recently with a clearer user story and got approved yesterday. Pretty excited to finally ship it.
“Codex from the Shitter” 🚽
That's the core idea of my latest side project. It syncs Codex sessions between CLI and phone, so I can pick up where I left off anywhere.
Built on Codex App Server. Runs entirely locally, no servers involved. I can access it remotely using Tailscale.
As a Dane, I approve this slide in "Unwrap PaperKit" ✅
The world moves fast, in ways both inspiring and unsettling. All the more reason to pause and reset. For me, that happens at the golf club, and today it was on the driving range.
It’s now super easy to integrate brrr with Copilot and get notified when it needs your attention.
This is available in version 0.2.0 of brrr-cli.

There doesn’t seem to be the ‘must watch’ WWDC sessions this year that introduces cool new frameworks, APIs, or features.
There was no cool new framework, API, or feature, I guess.
Or what am I missing?
Framna’s new double screen projector setup for events is slick. Come by next time.
Very much enjoy getting these notifications on my iPhone when Codex, Claude, and Copilot finish working while I'm away from the computer 🚀
Modern data plans still count MBs, but for most people, day-to-day usage feels unlimited. Soft limits and throttling exist, but they’re mostly invisible.
AI will likely follow the same pattern. A subscription that feels unlimited.
That’s why I’m not spending much time optimizing token usage. My time is better spent building.
The pricing will sort itself out.
