@StaceyCornelius@zeroes.ca Second iFixit. Some information: The keyboard is part of the "topcase" (the body) and essentially you remove every internal component and transfer it over to a new topcase. (You could technically replace just the keyboard in the topcase, but it's a ton of screws iirc) The headphone jack is soldered to the motherboard (Main Logic Board) - but you'd need to figure out if the failure is in the jack or a controller on the board (either way, soldering is required).

@sinituulia@eldritch.cafe It's such a sad state we're in where a device you buy with your hard-earned money becomes an immediate syphon for your data and attention (to ads) for hundreds of companies. I'm getting so tired of the exploitation. Can we just declare capitalism won already? Give the biggest corpos gold awards then tax their money back to support systems and UBI.
