The displays in our new 'Curating Nature' gallery are gradually taking shape. This section is about geological collections. For each type of collection in this gallery there will be a 'behind the scenes' section to represent storage with objects en mass, juxtaposed with a 'display' section to interpret the collection and highlight key objects and stories.

Marine reptile fun! @WitcherClo@sauropods.win led an outreach event at Wollaton Hall #NottNatHist Museum a few weeks ago. We challenged visitors to ID the fossil bones of an ichthyosaur and work out where they fit in the skeleton.
