Ticket to Ride won the poll!

I played in a mini Ticket to Ride tournament this weekend and it was a blast. This one was London, and after that we played the New York board.

I didn't get to play this one but the last group of gamers at the spring gaming carnival was playing it. It's a pokemon boardgame! Didn't know it existed but they looked like they were having a blast 🧡

Theres been so many great comments on boardgames. I've discovered a bunch of new ones to try so thanks all! I can't wait to see what other ones you guys suggest.

Yesterday I was at Dollarama and found this puzzle that I'm going to give to the games library of one of my local cons (AvalonExpo). The guy that runs it loves getting out in the community and is bringing the whole library & some videogames/equipment to the SBG Carnival next weekend 🧡

Jeff from AvEx brought this awesome ring light and I did some quick photobooth props with my Cricut.

I impulse purchased the backdrop but the frame came the day after the carnival so I had to rig up a dowel to two mic stands and tie them down to my plastic shelves as a base. I set it up as a selfie station but I have so many ideas now and one of the other volunteers and I are planning to work on the setup more for the next thing! Open to suggestions.

I've recently been recruited by #sandboxgamingNL (group that raises money for local charities by doing gaming events). The next one is a gaming carnival next Saturday at the Easter Seals building, so have this meme and go Google sandbox gaming NL or something idk

Also legit I hope someone brings 7 Wonders next weekend. So good.

Any of y'all played Power grid? I only have one friend that likes it so I've only played it like 1-2x haha

@Unlogic@hachyderm.io no one answered so I'm going to say pretty thick

I think the sandbox volunteers like me because I bring in fresh new ideas, like this one I had for the fall gaming carnival

@jamesbond@social.tchncs.de legit was just looking at games on my shelf and the poll only lets you do 4 options. Uno's pretty fun. I love that style of game I just don't own a copy. Fluxx and Sushi Go are also super fun travel sized card games. Maybe I should do another poll for card style games like that
