Ok... This is easily the most clever version of Bad Apple I've seen. >_<

Open source Minnesotan, making Veridian Expanse (@VeridianExpanse@mastodon.gamedev.place). I made the Chipmunk2D physics engine, and some other fun libraries. By day, I do a lot of game adjacent work like therapeutic VR, real time drone mapping, and math for heavy machinery.
Profile picture is me wearing headphones with a cat laying across my shoulders.
Oh, I suppose I forgot to share this. There was a game convention in town a few weeks ago and I got to try running SLORTH! (my toy 6502 Forth implementation) on a C64U.
Worked great! Debugger, disassembler, everything. I’ve now run it on 3 bit of real hardware. (Along with Apple //e, and NES)
Don't look at me... I'm still of the opinion that "maybe it's good to memorize things so you don't have to look them up on the internet every time you need to remember them."
I obviously still use the internet though, so maybe I'm a hypocrite. 🤷
Put together by a local friend that's frustrated at work:

Maybe not terribly relevant for many Mastodoners, but we all know people to share this with right?
(I admittedly made a joke about starting the challenge 30 years ago, but be careful about throwing shade on this one... Don't be someone that mocks the idea of self-improvement.)
Demoing my homebrew NES games at Minnebar (Local Minneapolis tech unconference) for a bit of fun. :D

Edit: you can play them in your browser too if you aren’t here! https://www.slembcke.net/nes/
Whaaaat. I’ve lived a 30 minute drive from “Scott county” for almost 10 years and had no idea. Why didn’t anyone tell me! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_County%2C_Minnesota
