@kwramm Have you tried https://meet.jit.si/ ? @Tijn mentioned it was great a few weeks ago. The last time I tried it was back in 2013 or so. It is American, unfortunately, but fully open source and libre (apache license).

@bw@social.lol I'd tell her to spend a couple hours and read the code from her app to understand what it does. It'll help inform any updates she makes and she might stick with it a bit more since she has ownership.

@eri@plush.city I finally got off my arse and went to the post office. The game looks great! Really well done. I'm looking forward to when I have some time to dedicate it to it and play it. My 3DO needs some work but it is minor I think.

@microsoft nothing made me more productive than leaving my desktop overnight to come back to it freshly rebooted due to unavoidable updates, especially the ones that put icons on my desktop for applications I know I deleted

@richardtroupe@mastodon.ie @SuperSelena64@vmst.io Same, though I've gotten into the Mister MultiSystem and it solves a ton of pain points with retro stuff. I haven't unpacked any of my soldering stuff since getting it.

@Gamrok Congrats! I've tried several times but each time I bounce off of it. First due to respawning enemies, the next due to dungeon complexity in the later levels. It felt like I had seen what I needed to. Also: kiting enemies is not fun and never will be 😁. The things I loved about the game are its atmosphere and soundtrack. 10/10 audio.

@retrohistories@digipres.club I felt something similar the other day unpacking the Mister MultiSystem 2. It'll play any game made before 1999.

@Amiga_News@fosstodon.org Wow! Thanks! I hadn't heard about this. They got Jogeir Liljedahl to do the music, too. Very cool. https://evercade.co.uk/evercade-game-spotlight-roguecraft-dx/ #evercade #amiga

@LorenzoAncora@ieji.de As much as I loved Notepad++, as soon as one leaves windows it no longer is relevant. Kate, VSCodium, and others all fill the void that was lacking in the windows world.

@gloriouscow @Kroc is this person on fedi? I'm doing some stuff with planes on the Jaguar version's GPU code and would love to chat. I don't do discord because I've deleted my account.

@libreoffice@fosstodon.org It's been refreshing to work offline with actual, native, local desktop apps after being part of the web 2.0 generation for so long. I don't think I'll ever go back to using cloud office tools except where required. However, there is clearly a market for this sort of thing, and so, congratulations!
