@realSiegfried@troet.cafe @ascentale@sfba.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social @DeltaWye@tiggi.es @trouble@masto.ai Also over 60. Also tend to use lower gears and higher rpm on hills. Recently converted an old mountain bike to electric for hauling gear and my trailer. Still rode my regular commuter bike to the pub this evening. My knees are the Achilles heel of cycling.

@jimfrost@mastodon.scot I'm not watching the game. Was there something particularly stupid (I realize it's a very high bar). Note: I am interested in the game but today is the first day in a week when the smoke has dissipated enough to be outside. Not going to spend it watching TV.

@crazyeddie @mike Yes, if you love the woods stay in the city and visit sparingly and lightly.

@CheapPontoon@beige.party @GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social Ha!

@space_environmentalism@mastodon.social There is no way no how that any US agency will submit to international law, regulations or guidance during this administration - full stop.

@jimfrost@mastodon.scot Got it. Reminds me of Field of Dreams that goes something like: "What's with the lights?" "They figured out they could make more money if the games were played at night." "...Owners..."

@Pepijn@mastodon.online @juliette@mastodon.green Yep, often beside the dumpster.

@rl_dane Thanks. I often feel inadequate but I'm trying.

@markgrieveson@mindly.social Also love pressure cookers for various legumes. Very quick and efficient. Also avoid Amazon and other online purchases but find it difficult to completely eliminate.

@molly0xfff Jeez, you expect collusion from peanuts but pecans?!

@Natasha_Jay I love these soooo much!

@eedly @EdCates When mobile phones were still uncommon, I overheard someone in the grocery store calling their significant other to ask whether they should get green or red grapes. What I didn't say was "just make an executive decision and live with the consequences." It's been all downhill from there.

@eniatitova@sfba.social 95% of the time it's parked somewhere. 4.75% of the time I use it to haul my 150-200 lb meatsack around. 0.25% of the time I do truck stuff with it. It's indispensible.

@pence@scholar.social @waeiski@vis.social Maybe getting a clean recording before the vinyl picks up any ticks and pops. Cool find!

@pekkatahkola Beautiful photos! I often cite Oulu as an example when people argue that year-round bicycle infrastructure isn't viable in Thunder Bay. There are some interesting parallels between our cities. We're not on the ocean but have an ocean-going port, often with 5-6 'salties' at anchor waiting to load wheat or potash mostly; we're a regional hub a long way from our provincial and national capitals; and, have similar temperatures and seasons. I really hope to visit Oulu one day!

@nblr@chaos.social Where does the button battery go?

@LikeItOrLumpIt Dang!

@ConspiracyOfCartographers That's really sad. Sorry friend.

@Davi_Dblees@mastodon.world @vkc@linuxmom.net Live music and people lifting their voices together is more important than ever.

@nev Yes

@sundogplanets @astrokiwi.bsky.social This is fantastic! Made my day!

@chad Just signed. Weird that the default country I got was Iran. Afghanistan would be a little less weird, but not much.

@opengisch@fosstodon.org @qgis@fosstodon.org @qfield@fosstodon.org This is really great. I often recommend QGIS specifically because it can be installed on a Mac but many people are afraid to do it. This will make it easier to get everyone in a room full of disparate laptop technology to use QGIS.

@avilewis@mstdn.ca The best time to start this Sovereign Wealth fund was when the elder Trudeau was PM. The second best time is to start taxing the windfall profits right now!
