Yay, we're going to Korea for #DH2026!!
Just received the news that our short paper on the French crime fiction collection "Le Masque" has been accepted, as well as my poster on the "Mapping DH" initiative! Awesome!
That's all the more wonderful as we recently received funding for a workshop, to take place the week before in Seoul, with Korean colleagues, to investigate suitable data sources to study literary translations from German and French into Korean.
Tomorrow's the day! Our workshop at #LREC2026 on "Leveraging Derived Text Formats to Unlock Copyrighted Collections for Open Science" takes place!
Even if you can't make it to the event, you can see the programme and read the papers in the proceedings volume here:

(Not sure why this is not "https", sigh.)

Feels very funny to read this 14 years later!
It's not really a definition, of course, and I would rather speak of the general aspirational value of openness in DH nowadays, but otherwise, I can still live with that statement.
No success so far, would appreciate any help!
(Edit: Just to make it explicit: Yes, I have already contacted all three authors by email, and looked in the usual places, including shadow libraries, but with no success. Setting my hopes on inter-library loan now.)
Not sure this is still being practiced here, but just in case: Would anyone be able to send me this paper? I don't have access, unfortunately:

Awesome! And great that Gephi exists for Windows, Mac and Linux.
But please add a line about installation on Linux to the Quickstart page!
Something like: "On Linux, after the download completes, expand the tarball, navigate to gephi-0.11-1" and run ./bin/gephi` in the Terminal."
This would be so so helpful and make Linux users not feel like second class citizens.
Note that the documentation (so far) has nothing on installation, afaict: https://docs.gephi.org/desktop/
