@leanderlindahl@mastodon.social it would but "Zensursula" did never shine with digital competence. Or really with anything.

I'm now ~35h in the early access of #Subnautica2. At this point I finished the available content once and naturally started to fool around. What do you mean I can't control my sub like one of my space pew pew fighters? Make me! And yes there is a deeper sense in this - this is me learning to control the sub with my X52 Pro #HOTAS - that is my story and I'm sticking to it 😛

We can not underestimate how important bananas for scale are nowadays.

@PC_Fluesterer@social.tchncs.de das erinnert mich an meinen Vater. Der hat früher seine Passwörter auch in weißem Text auf weißen Grund in der Tabellenkalkulation gespeichert.

Needed a rather old package from the attic. Good thing #Debian delivers: https://www.debian.org/distrib/archive
Heck I can even use this with apt 🙃

Unexpected: #BeamEyeTracker is looking for #Linux testers:
(The Beam Eye Tracker is software that turns standard webcams or smartphones into PC eye and head-trackers. It eliminates the need for expensive hardware or wearable gear. Works apparently even with [some] glasses but I wouldn't know. Did apply for a Linux beta tho 🤓)

@allpurposemat@mastodon.gamedev.place @ondra@social.unextro.net imagine your first name gets used in tech and people silent it to not get annoyed xD
Good thing I'm just a washing machine. That's seldom blocked by word filters 🤪
guess I've to keep my eyes peeled for a #Fairphone 5 for.. reasons.
Waking up to "amazing new features for your phone available now" frighten me to the core.

typically, doesn't work on Linux PC.
..and people complained that Wayland makes it difficult for apps to register global hotkeys
Quoting
What the actual hell.
Chrome installed a *global* Ctrl+G keyboard shortcut to launch Gemini even if I’m using a different app, and didn’t ask me about it.
People that make way for a bicycle by moving to both sides of the path drive me crazy.
Bonus with a dog and the leash across the path.

As a bonus: Sometimes a human reacts on top later to tell me where to stuff my spam - not understanding that someone else just "ordered pizza in my name" here.

@MongooseStudios@hachyderm.io nope, I'm a different person today.
I'd download a bicycle 😜

@nocci zu schnell aktualisieren ist ja teilweise auch wieder nix mehr, wenn reihenweise KI gestützte Repos automatisiert aufgemacht werden und man den Dreck über die Supply Chain rein gespült bekommt 😩

@fribbledom@mastodon.social that's all in cold storage when migrating to new disks after a few years :D

@Unfoldedmemory000@mastodon.social @iFixit@mastodon.social is this a headphone where only an app can activate "the better" audio codecs or does this work fine via BT? I really do not want an app just to use some headphones 😩
Very interested. Especially since this also has *buttons* and not this motion sensing bs.

@Edent heh, at this point I see typos like this as a "software made by humans" quality seal xD

@threemaapp yes, that is much better and works for me.
What we do get with Threema tho is at least 3 different TLDs (ch, com, id) in the wild, that sometimes(!) redirect to the main. This is *highly* confusing as well because it's hard to tell which domain is legit or not for newcomers.
There is also no rel=me attribute for an automated "green" checkmark for e.g. your Mastodon profile on the social media link on your website. At least you do have the link on the website tho so there is that 👌

@yannseznec totally random but I forgot I was still playing music from $otherDevice and was *very* confused when this video started with Sabaton - Bismarck on my ears on the first try 😆

@DLink @signalapp this right here.
We also want to emphasize that Signal Support will never initiate contact via in-app messages,
Where is that bold never with the "in-app news"?
This is where you teach the Average Joe that there may in fact be in-app messages by you. Messages nobody actively asked for.

@thelinuxcast@fosstodon.org plenty do nowadays thanks to the work of some people o
in e.g. https://matrix.to/#/#simracing:matrix.org - they probably have recommendations and can help with your model.
I'm more into flights sims but I read their channel to keep tabs 😁

Now that was easy. Getting the payload from the #LoRA device via #TheThingsNetwork API took me 10 minutes fiddling with my local #Zabbix monitoring.
