Is it too early in this game/season to start calling for everyone to be fired? #Eagles

🎬 How To Switch From Watching To Creating https://mtwb.blog/videos/2026/how-to-switch-from-watching-to-creating/
If the first line of your job posting is "Generate new business opportunities" I'm going to just assume that it's not so much a job posting as a solicitation for inclusion in a ponzi scheme.
Some people are so into using the word "woke" for everything, I'm surprised they're smart enough to spell it.
Hot Take: People who multi-task on their smartphones should just get a laptop.
We'll be podcasting early today! We've got Nick from @thelinuxEXP@mastodon.social joining us for an interview and a talk about age verification laws. Watch live! https://youtube.com/live/r-9wQ5yAGKo?feature=share
I would pay literal thousands of dollars if I never had to use Windows 11 again. Sadly, that world doesn't exist.
Funny because it's true
I have now written to my congressman about this nonsense. https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/8250/text
I swear, if I hear one more person say li-berry, I'm going to commit all sorts of violence. Library, motherfuckers.
At this point we have Schrodinger's Hormuz Strait. Is it open or is it closed?
Dealing With Social Anxiety
Every generation thinks their generation's music is the best, and that the "kids" don't know real #music. Guess what, gramps, your parents thought the same shit about your music too, so get over yourself.
I can't believe LTT posted a "but it's GNU/Linux" video today. ffs
Making My Own Task App
I'm going to do some streaming on my gaming channel if anyone wants to watch along. https://youtube.com/live/RpGUq3dECas?feature=share
Iran: that's it! We're closing the strait
Trump: me too!
Iran: Fine, we'll open the strait
Trump: I kinda like it closed. It's so beautiful.
Iran: open the strait or we're going to ... Close the strait!
This is the most immature war ever fought.
Two consecutive nights of planned power outages was a pain in the ass.
Why I Don't Use A Dedicated Music Player

trying a new (to me) mastodon and bluesky client called Fread. so far it's pretty good.

@veronica@explains.social Wait. There are people who don't think ABBA is a rock band? What do they think they are? Country? odd
Lol remember these?
Going to do some gaming tonight if anyone wants to watch along. https://youtube.com/live/AKOUQgwxqXs?feature=share
The LUG will be starting soon. If you want to watch along go here: https://youtube.com/live/iD24xBa69xU?feature=share If you'd like to join, go here: https://meet.thelinuxcast.org/lug
I'm really trying to stick with Dungeon Crawler Carl (I'm reading book 2 rn), but man I am bored. I'm 61% of the way through this book and it just drags and drags with nothing happening. And the lack of other characters is really making this hard to get interested in.
Ha! got my innioasis y1 working with my flac library. Nice. Took a Mac to do it tho, lol

@elgosz@mastodon.social @wwwgem@social.linux.pizza Book 2 finally introduced another character. I have little hope that it will help, but we'll see.
Anybody know of a steering wheel and pedals that work PnP with Linux?

@nenos Oh, I'm not expecting to make a difference, though if enough people do it maybe. This was more to make myself feel better, lol

@4X6GP That's not objective. You should probably look that word up. Your opinion matters, and is fine to have, but it doesn't make it fact.

@taimaninuehararin@infosec.exchange If the Phillys were good, I'd probably think about them. I'm an Eagles fan so it'd fit in. I'd also consider the Tigers since I'm from Michigan, but they've been shit since the 80s outside a few Leyland years, and even then they were mid. Last season was a fluke.
My biggest issue with my switch to ListenBrainz is that their website is so slow. Everything else has been great.

A win? What's that?

@Steeny@mstdn.social You had money to buy a phone that multitasks. I was specifically talking about foldables, tbh.

@taimaninuehararin@infosec.exchange The problem if not the Dodgers or Yanks, you're pretty much dooming yourself to mediocrity unless your team gets lucky. Or they do a salary cap.

@4X6GP Hate to break it to you, but originality isn't really originality. There were 500 people in the 50s wanting to be like Elvis, some of them very popular.
Replying to
@taimaninuehararin@infosec.exchange I've thought about changing. The Giants haven't been good in a decade. But I don't think it'd matter. The only team that is going to be good always are the Dodgers, and I'd hate myself if I became a Dodgers fan.
