The fraction of people getting their information from a feed specifically tailored to reinforce or amplify what their demographic cluster already believes increases every time someone swipes up with their thumb in one of the big tech "social" media apps.

Public sentiment matters in a democracy.
John McCain called Russia a gas station masquerading as a country.
It doesn't matter who runs, "owns" or operates a gas station, but rather if they have fuel, if it's flowing and at what price.
In a certain economic sense, Russia has maintained a level of stability and continuity since the time of the czar.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy is hitting the levers of change. There's a lot pruning going on in the fossil fuel sector globally.

Russia has spread rumors that EVERY SINGLE major disease event since 1947 that the origin is a leak or intentional release from a US BioLab. It is their default propaganda package, which a substantial portion of the world population (15-20%) now believes.
The US DoJ has internalized partial narratives from Russian state propaganda.

The US CDC has suspended testing services for #smallpox.
And the Department of Homeland Security has mothballed their labs due to staffing issues too.
They seem to be setting up the same no tests/no cases playbook, but for a #genocide

If my local newspaper's website returns a 402 Error, how will I pay them in your utopia?
Petro-dollars? petro-bitcoin?
EDIT:
If everything is pegged to fossil fuel backed money, it's going to result in endless wars, artificial scarcity, surveillance and worse.

This morning, I was listening to a radio program about school board politics in the US.
The speaker noted that the arguments that cropped up in 2021 (against vaccines and mask mandates) sounded EXACTLY like the arguments against smallpox vaccination a century earlier.
There IS ONLY ONE VACCINE that matters now. We stockpiled that vaccine to protect us against the use of strategic weapon.
That weapon is the reason science, public health and school boards are being attacked.

Of the organizations listed, only The Internet Archive is able to list a plain pay-to-public key hash style bitcoin address.
WHY? Because someone put a gun to everyone's head and told them they could not accept money.
If they can't accept internet money, then yes, the internet is lost.
Anyone that wants the internet and money should put up a donation address or accept that the endgame is lost.

Many social media platforms that rank comments by engagement end up strongly biasing comments by age rather than quality. Old comments have collected more engagement and get ranked higher.
Systems that rank comments by engagement also end up strongly favoring bad, incorrect or controversial takes.
If platforms reward early bad comments, that ends up influencing who participates on social media and what they say.
Mastodon's random (?) reply ranking is a huge hidden feature.

Thing that burns fossil fuels absorbs liquidity to then get discarded for thing that burns more fossil fuels.
Railroads, cars, war, planes, McHomes, crypto, AI
Most of the time, the thing is forced upon the public until they actively rebel.

The current #mpox vaccine (Jynneos) is a #smallpox vaccine.
It was developed because the threat of smallpox is NOT eradicated.
The vaccine has proven safe and effective. A million people have gotten it in the US since 2022 with a very low rate of serious complications.
If we can talk about widespread #genocide, it's time to start talking about vaccinating the vulnerable.

Much of what people don't get about AI (or crypto mining or housing) stems the misconception that The Bank in our monopoly is a fair a neutral player following all the rules.
Using energy and creating scarcity is the point when what The Bank controls is collateralized energy.
Why to people keep calling them the "Epstein Files" if he was just the fixer?

In order to remain a global reserve currency, the dollar has to have a way to dynamically incentivize saving in an extra-judicial way.
In 1973, the solution was the Eurodollar-type markets. It seems like Coinbase want's to insist on decentralizing this mechanism. If they don't get what they want, or someone builds a better mouse trap, things would get interesting.

In April 1998, Clinton read a novel that scared him, and he began a series of actions that would lead to the creation of the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS).
Around the same time, a group picked up the Feb 1998 Wakefield MMR-autism fraud and began a 28 yr disinformation campaign.
It's fun to mock RFK Jr. But if the head of the Strategic National Stockpile believes vaccine disinformation, it might be good to figure out what scared Clinton and Cheney into buying 300M vaccines

I will pay to read a free press without ads, but I don't want to pay with fossil fuel money. I'm not alone.
If a free press can implement Error 402, I can get them paid. If they can't implement the second error of the internet, are they a free press? who owns the press? and what is the product?
If I can't but a newspaper, who did?

I have the money, but the "free press" isn't allowed to accept it for some reason.

The disinformation campaign transcended ownership of twitter, it spread to other platforms, it became official policy. They bought new social media platforms and old media empires.
And doctors still denied the existence of the virus we created The Vaccine for.
Not one single public health professional raised their voice to say: 'I think we might have a small problem.'

An "Error 402" is one way to deal with AI bot abuse. It could go a long way toward fixing content and saving journalism too. It could simplify supporting good organizations and open source projects as well.
But if people aren't going to implement those solutions because they're scared, then the open internet never really was what people claimed it to be, and we were only building tools for people to be oppressed.

If fossil fuels aren't the cheapest form of energy, oil scrip is worthless.
Wealth is not going to be denominated in dollars, but resources.
EDIT:
On ethics, if values, compliance and laws are being dictated by the Epstein-class and their money, there is no pretense of ethics.

With the proliferation of privately issued fiat stablecoins in the future, SBF could be a useful mechanism to absorb that liquidity on chain, to then transmit the tokens back to established players through a series of "positive expected value" trades.
For example, if World Liberty Financial wanted to issue $25T in scrip to an entity that wished to remain anonymous, they could encash SBF and take it from there.
They may pardon him for his usefulness and reliability as a foil.

Wikipedia accepts petrodollars via the "PayPal Mafia" which was founded by Musk and Thiel.
People who can only conceive of petro fiat scrip as currency are going to be at the whims of the people committing ecocide and genocide.
You aren't asking which version of bitcoin enables the most economic freedom per unit of energy expended, because what most people consider "Bitcoin" was crafted by Epstein and his clients.

The chain Jeffery Epstein helped craft burns a lot of fossil fuels. He was working for fossil fuel interests.
The media, governments and most orgs also ultimately work for the same people.
If people demand to be paid in a currency linked to ecocide, genocide, blackmail and coercion; it's somewhat pointless to debate with them.

With AI enabled doctors, it could be a death sentence to millions when the next "non-habit forming" pain killer comes on the market.
Palantir modus operandi is to use AI (bulk surveillance and classifiers) to select the most venerable batch of people to tag for removal next. Incrementally, a few dozen targets at a time, they engineer the morality out of genocide.

The proliferation of scams doesn't mean someone can't build something that brings value.
What you're seeing is people in crypto that have been rewarded by the legacy monetary system behave badly.
Have you seen what is going on at https://vox.cash/pop ?
America is terribly naive right now.
