@scalzi As devastating as it may be to the company that lost all their data, I can’t help but laugh. Relying on AI like that is about as bad as using “password123” for your admin portals. Giving AI unequivocal access to your systems, at the system level, is quite possibly the dumbest idea I have ever heard. This is almost basic security practices 101. At least they won’t make the same mistake twice as they denounce the product.

Just like people self diagnosing and treating illnesses and wounds with ChatGPT rather than consulting a vetted first aid handbook/manual. It's a fancy search tool that delivers overly confident information in a way that is designed to make you trust it, regardless of the answer. This has been tested and proven time and time again. A tool that convinces young people to kill themselves should not be considered the authority on anything based in reality. What happened to critical thinking?!

You could easily convince me this is the end of the world. Based on today’s trending headlines and news articles, the world seems on the verge of global collapse. Genocide, food shortages, poisonous crops, AI taking jobs, people using AI committing suicide, corrupt politicians pushing for civilian surveillance, corrupt policitians profiting off genocide and war, thousands of babies killed, racism back in spades, and a wealth gap that continues to increase while the sciences are being gutted and vaccines are weaponized against people. All because of a few billionaires. I am angry today. I weep for the many.

@Linux didn’t take long for these to sell out! Awesome product but I may actually be skipping this hardware. The 200Hz polling rate worries me for games that demand quick reactions, and it really only plays well with Steam Input. If Steam isn’t running, I wonder if it effectively becomes a paperweight. I’d like to see how that all works before I commit, though when Valve makes hardware it is very difficult to turn a blind eye haha. Interested to what people say about it once regular users get their hands on it.
