@ProPublica i think we need to update medical consent laws to remove the ability for parents to reject medically necessary procedures on their kids. I work in healthcare and realize consent is difficult when it comes to kids, but SOMEONE has to be the adult in the room. If mom and dad aren't qualified, it's gotta be the docs.
