Another reason why Amazon and capitalism is complete shit: While people focus on AI slop, Amazon is full of physical slop which makes it hard to determine what is actually a good product to purchase. I just want some masks for air travel and the fact that I can just as easily buy shit products that could get me sick is infuriating. Having a metric shit ton of choices isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be.

Also, just because someone holds office does not mean they hold power. Mamdani is a prime example of that. He's mayor, sure. He can do a little bit in NYC. But he's still beholden to city council and to New York State. If Mamdani had power, Bibi would be in prison or would never have set foot in NYC a couple of weeks ago. There is a difference.

At the pump. At the doctor. All of it! Remember, in 2016, Clinton won the popular vote. We got Trump anyway. How is that people-powered control? That was an archaic system put in place to say you don't. Some of us still don't. People can't vote because of draconian voter ID laws which are getting worse.

Accept nothing! Push no code! Let the security holes fester! If it needs fixing, let them handle it and watch it bite them in the ass. I feel this is more effective than whining on the internet.

I was thinking of ways I could use my new GoPro as I don’t do much in the way of “action” in the way they market it. Then I thought about “direct action”. I know people already feel a way about protests, but it’s a good way to show force in numbers. Outside of that, I thought about ICE verifications. It be nice to have something like a body cam on me or a small discrete camera around. Then, my last thought was similar to a body/dash cam for police interactions when just existing.
