@eris@yourwalls.today Honestly weird how a lot of Internet users initially praised Liquid Ass and by extension, iOS 26 and macOS Tahoe, for "returning to form," then (At least until they realized they had to use this shit)
Starting to feel that the push for Frutiger Aero nostalgia is just an aesthetic and most don't actually know or care about what made the interfaces in iOS 6 and Windows 7 work so well

@vozercozer@vozer.cafe Weird nerds in Pleroma and Misskey instances rushing to ask you "why you didn't use Pleroma/Misskey instead" (they're actually rushing because it's the first time in a while their instance was remotely stable enough for them to use-ish) :ackshually:

@lain@lain.com @kaia@brotka.st I feel the thing is that at least for us nerds, who seem to be Firefox's target market now after Chrome (unfortunately) won over the majority, slightly better than Chrome is not really enough anymore. Browsers like Zen, Librewolf, Floorp, Vivaldi, and Brave are above Firefox in either privacy (Librewolf actively reduces fingerprinting while Firefox only uses privacy as marketing material) or features (You can have vertical tabs and pin tabs on Vivaldi and Zen, while Firefox looks like fucking Chrome). :drgn_think:
