@dabertime My local stores can stock all the American booze they want; that doesn't mean I have to buy it. Or is Nutlick going to dictate what I have to purchase?

@Edelruth@mastodon.online @carrieberry@mstdn.social He's incapable of that learning. Since he was born, people have been cleaning up after him and covering for him, and he honestly believes that is how it should be regardless of his actions. He may FAFO, but he won't learn.

And so it begins.
I'm starting to worry about our trip to Europe in June, and I blame one person for that anxiety.

@johnmwildlife Welcome John! I look forward to seeing your photos and hearing more about the wildlife in Scotland. My first visit there was last September and I've been planning a return since then.

@DenOfEarth@mas.to A Gullwing *and* a Miura? That's worth a trip just to check it out!

@That_One_Guy@mastodon.world Damn, sorry to hear that. My brother-in-law had it about 20 years ago and it wasn't nice. Hang in there and get well soon!

@Drwave Either (or both) of the Mercedes or Porsche museums, and the SWR Fernsehturm (TV tower) which has an observation deck and restaurant.
I don't know if you're a racing fan or not, but the old Solitude circuit can still be driven (it's all public roads) and there's a nice Gasthaus/beer garden (Biergarten Glemseck) on what used to be turn 1.
Whatever you do, I'm envious! Viel Spaß!

@mwt@mastodon.nz @HamonWry@mastodon.world It depends on the income of the single earner.
To be fair, we still have too many underhoused or homeless people (Canada isn't unique in this regard, but that doesn't make it right) and in certain areas of the country, buying a "starter" home is still out of reach of many people depending on their income. But I would like to think it's getting better, even based on the amount of new construction in my area.

@RealJournalism Kudos to Jamie Raskin for demanding this, but it will never happen. Even if it did, the books would be cooked and there would be no factual results made public.

So if by tRump/Hegseth logic, the clock stopped on the 60-day notification to Congress when the temporary "ceasefire" was called, does that same logic mean a resumption of kinetic hostilities would reset the clock back to day 1?

@Sanderde@mstdn.ca I believe it depends on the leaning of the government of the day.
So yes, I think they have it in the bag.

@Sanderde@mstdn.ca I don't think so either, but I do know the UCP has stated they do not need to comply to any referendum result if they feel it's against the best interest of Albertans. So that could go either way, and I'm concerned it may go the wrong way.
