@WeirdWriter@caneandable.social related, have you come across https://drewdevault.com/weird-guys/ yet?
Replying to
@sknob@mamot.fr @mirlo@musician.social @jamcoop@mastodon.social it came up today but folk can try using the tag #artistTechSupport so us fedi nerds can help with things like self hosting
Replying to
@cameo007@rheinneckar.social @tinker@infosec.exchange it may be technically passable but it can never be good. and specifically in the context of this thread, it is, and always will be, bad

@falcennial@mastodon.social at this point i'm willing to give Founding Cats a go but your option does seem better

@daisy@cloudisland.nz i think the writers have just given up this season. they don't even seem to be trying to make it believable

@Pettet8@mastodon.social @_elena@mastodon.social no. the politicians are solving a different problem to the one they are talking about. the problem they are solving for is "how do we enact more surveillance"
Replying to
@cxiao@infosec.exchange @oldbookillustrations@mastodon.social @publicdomainrev@mastodon.social and the other day i proposed the tag #artistTechSupport for creatives looking for help with hosting and so on. i'm now suggesting #techArtSupport for tech folk looking for design and art

@HeliosPi@neuromatch.social @Em0nM4stodon@infosec.exchange that's where it gets tricky. for most activism there will need to be some engagement on bigtech socials. that's where the people are. it would be nice if they could funnel the audience from there to small tech but that's a big ask
