- cup of coffee so good. how is it so yum.
- my guided meditation is extremely helpful. when making these recordings a very useful feature is to include the idea of returning to that meditation with a regular frequency or under a specific condition. it seems to make it a lot easier to think "ooh yes, time for that" rather than requiring the thought to originate just from reasoning or the desire for it.
- sunlight through the pohutukawa. 🤌
millennial fulcrum
I highly value systems-thinking, consequences, and the practice of compassion.
I am interested in exercise, art, Ukraine, screws & fasteners, behaviour, wordplay, community, and epistemology (the secular kind).
I want to be a lovely and positive person online and not engage with the outrage system (but I sometimes I screw that up).
- good lord I love tea
- and cake
- I've made tea and cake 🤌
- drawing was mediocre tonight but at least socially it was good for me to see the gang
- pizza
- I spent my pizza calories on an overdue heavy duty leg day session, it was resplendent
- I learned some people's stories about Trauma Recovery Exercise, it is fascinating! I tried some of the exercises. the big epiphany for me is the trembling that happens in some positions is not weakness, it is apparently good for the nervous system, and can even feel good if I let it happen.
- the new train network opened today. it is very good, it was jam packed from popular use, and it was very nice to use.
- I did a task I'd been putting off, even though I was very sore and slumpish from Friday's exercise session.
- Ukraine wins.
the Western Values: can they be easily defined? please do comment to state and/or substantiate some or all of them. ones that matter to you, especially. (and when disagreeing, disagree with ideas not people.)
New Zealand's conservative government playbook:
- declare war on crime
- persecute mentally ill people
- support police sexual assault
- get unemployment up to a decades long high
- persecute trans people
- declare mental health crisis
- release AI mental healthcare programme
- embrace open racism in parliament
- scramble to extend government terms from 3 years to 4
who elected these targets? seriously, what are the names of the people who elected them?
my summary:
-
USA is over.
-
China has zero international credibility and you'd have to be insane to bank there. no amount of solar installations will change this.
-
Europe has financial credibility and is the only option to take on the global petrocurrency responsibility. they need simply to build it (which could be done in under one month) and make it available to oil purchasing nations (which could be done in ten minutes).
- tomorrow I go up the maunga 🤌🤌
- tomorrow I will pursue a new business avenue I am extremely excited about
- tonight I am going to make another one of the very nice Azteca hot chcolates I drank the other night. (I inhaled the ultrafine powder off the broad rim of my cool handcarved wooden cup directly into my lungs last time, which sting like a maddafakka but did not give me the pneumonia, so that worked out all right although I am basically Mr Bean)
- a sloooow wake up. good morning feddy, happy weekend 🌻
- I am going to make a delicious cappuccino.
- my arm muscles were at their biggest measurement of my life yesterday and still growing. circumference of 44cm after my session yesterday, I am over the moon! at this rate they'll be 50cm by December. Arnie territory.
