chillin with Kitty while I enjoy one more cup, and I get to hand the on-call phone off today - I've had to deal with some kind of after hours issue every day since it was handed to me last week we're gonna have a great day today - Lets Go!!!

why are people with dogs in their laps such terrible drivers? because there's a fucking dog in their lap

well, it was a battle, but I emerged victorious, if a bit dusty - shoulda seen the looks I was getting from peeps in the gas station when I went in for a Gatorade dug every bit of that rocky-ass shit myself 🤘

feeling really isolated and depressed today, shit is really bringing me down - I don't even know wtf I'm writing this shit right now shit's really dumb rn maybe getting it out makes me feel a little better

"and I told him that's crazy, I've gotta race in 20 minutes!"

Where the Hell is Coleen in San Diego? #WhereTheHellIsColeen

on a related note, I'm now down to 2 or 3 cups of coffee a day - I really can't get much more square than this unless I started juicing, or eating kale or some shit - but don't count on it

wow, check out this 1951 Royal I'm working on for a woman here in North Park - it belonged to her grandmother, who is still around btw - she has great disdain for this machine, but her granddaughter and I love it! it has everything, key, brush, documentation, OEM certificate, and original bill of sale 😻 told her I'll get her all cleaned up for $75, but it'll be a few weeks cause I already have one on my bench

@nemo@mas.to 🔥

@paul_ipv6@infosec.exchange I'm honoured she chose me for this job!

I've had this typewriter I'm fixin up for a local poet on my bench for three weeks now thankfully he's in no rush for it - I just haven't really wanted to do much of anything lately which is strange because this is the first time I've ever even seen this model of Royal - its SN is from 1948 btw

@dr_a@mastodon.social aye, kale is terribly disappointing although I understand coating it in coconut oil makes it easily slide right off your plate into the garage bin

@Rajiv@infosec.exchange easy, even the good silk ones

finished that after hours network maintenance and ran into trouble with a misconfigured LAG interface from some predecessor or other, but we got it sorted - long day man

RE: https://infosec.exchange/@coleens_/116953571812118499 as much as I hope to never see them ever again, I feel this is unrealistic - guess I'm still workin through this

it's nice that my family took steps to conceal their drinking from me over the weekend - as an alcoholic, it's not that I didn't notice, cause I know most of the tricks, but it's the thought that counts 🖤

fuck yeah

😉

I'm WFH party of this week to accommodate house guests and airport runs, and I realize how much I miss my favorite coworker, and how much I dislike cube life

been kinda of an emotional weekend - seeing my ex and her wife and remembering the vows that we made when we were married, which I honoured seeing her mother, now on her 8th husband feels kinda like I should have seen it all coming seriously doubt I'll trust anyone enough to ever marry again

@paul_ipv6@infosec.exchange thank you, the path forward is rarely a straight line 🖤

@lowqualityfacts@mstdn.social awwwwwwwww
