@lachralle@social.vivaldi.net I’m with @jonhicks@mastodon.social on this: Qobuz and Deezer are top candidates. I’ve ran trials of both but not enough to confidently recommend one over the other.
Personally I use Apple Music because it’s integrated into all of mine and the wife’s Apple devices so seamlessly and we fell into the Apple One subscription to get cloud storage, music, TV, etc. bundled.

@lachralle@social.vivaldi.net I realise that you didn’t ask me, so I won’t answer the question 😛 but I will leave this link here:

Half time and the first half has been fun to watch. Brazil are sharp on the attack but Norway have held their own PRETTY DAMN WELL.
In fact, Norway scored a goal. It was offside, but its more than Brazil have done, and they had a penalty.
I feel Norway is stacking a house of cards and its going really well so far, everyone is applauding, but Brazil are ready to topple it.

1: Browse 2. Pick an item 3. Pick a size 4. Press "Check in-store availability" 5. Get disappointed
So few websites have a filter by store, so you can just pick your store then you know all the items you see are available in your local store.

The #DeltaChat server that I was using seems to have stopped working for receiving messages, which sucks 😞 but such is the nature of decentralisation 🤷
It's really easy just to start a new account on a new server - so that's not really a problem - but I'm lucky that I only have one contact that message on the app because "re-adding" people isn't super straight forward. 🤔

@ramkay@mastodon.social @pfefferle Tbh, it depends on how you want to use it. Having a federated blog is useful because it's just one thing to update: people can read and comment and share the info they need where they want to (in their social feed).
But if you have the resources to manage a social media account AND a blog, it could be more versatile and rewarding to also find a home on a Mastodon/Fediverse instance.
Hope you find a solution that works for you. 🙂

My success rate of connecting an Apple iPhone to another Apple device is way higher than connecting a Google Android device to another Google Android device.
💯 facts.
One of the great benefits of being locked into an Apple ecosystem is that stuff like that simply works every time.

@steveroy@mstdn.ca What game franchise has a mega boss who is so powerful you just can't defeat it, no matter who you are, no matter how hard you try? That is Ticketmaster.

@jonhicks@mastodon.social You're dressed in a similar style to the girl in the background though, so either that was the theme of the day and your brother missed the memo, or he's just ahead of his time. 🙃

@km@mastodon.babb.no Ah, fair enough - you don't like the "bloat".
I pretty much just use the tap-to-pay aspect. And then if I go out with friends and want to split a bill, we sometimes use Settlements. Or maybe I buy something from a market and use the QR code scanning from the homepage.
Since tap-to-pay is probably 90% or more of my usage, I don't even open the app so much. The bloat doesn't really effect me.
But I get it, if you are in the app often, all the extra stuff is probably quite annoying.

Next he has to battle Flavio Cobolli 🇮🇹 who is ranked 10th, whilst Fery 🇬🇧 is ranked 114th - so best of luck to him!
