@kineticdiplomacy@infosec.exchange Yes. Me! 😆 I think it would help a lot if / when #Collections also appear in search results. https://oslo.town/@matt/collections

We published two new resources on our Help Centre today.
To bring you more transparency about how our moderation team makes decisions, actions they might take against rule-violating behaviour, and the pathways available to you for appealing our decisions: https://help.joinmastodon.org/article/20-moderation-decisions-and-appeals
Plus, learn how to use one of our newest features, Collections, and help people across the #fediverse find new accounts to follow: https://help.joinmastodon.org/article/19-creating-a-collection

# Pachli 3.8.0 is released
This release introduces support for notifications about #collections, improves compatibility with #iceshrimpdotnet servers (by @c@fedi.cpf.sh, their first contribution to Pachli), fixes a crash, and ensures follower/following relationships are updated if you block a server.

I'm making new collection of accounts publishing content related to public relations, reputation management and other related topics. No ads, no spam. Just sharing valuable knowledge, tips and interesting stuff.
If you publish valuable content about these topics, feel free to let me know in replies or DM, so I can add you to the collection.
Let's make good and professional space for sharing stuff about PR to help others learn and share their own ideas, perspectives and more.

Check out my new Mastodon collection of quality European news accounts:

Unfortunately none of the news accounts on #Flipboard can be added (technical reasons?) and @euobserver@mastodon.social can't be added (no idea why not).

Until there is a built in discovery feature, can I suggest people creating collections post them under a hashtag? Maybe #collections?

The true reasons Mastodon implemented #collections
I present: the fediverse singularity of catsalads! (uncomplete of course)

A new #StarterKit UI, inspired by the #Loops WebUI. You can also see #Mastodon #Collections from here.
If you're going to use the new Mastodon #Collections feature there are a few things you should know before you consent for your account to be included in a collection.
(source: I've been experimenting with the API for the past month to implement it in #pachli)
I just created my first collection on history. Which historians or other history-related accounts in the fediverse am I missing?

@rdis@mastodon.social I'm well aware. I started on the "large server" 7 - 8 years ago, and will NEVER go back.
Hashtags work across the Fediverse and aren't specific to one server. So when something like #Collections is used for a word game, everyone can see it.
Trust me, I know how these things work. I ran my own instance for over two years. LOL

Hey! I put up a quick Mastodon Collections directory!

Try it out, add some collections, use the search. Let me know if you find any issues! Thanks!
