#VRChat is an interesting counter-argument with regards to age verification. Unlike most sites & games, a *lot* of :vrc: users had been actively petitioning the them to add verification for years.

Now that we have it, I don't think it goes far enough. Being able to restrict a world to users aged 18+ is great, but I'm over 50. I don't generally *want* to hang out with 18yr olds or even most twenty-something's. We're just at radically different stages of our lives.

Just realized I was hearing cicadas buzzing in our trees. Nice to hear them again. Not many though. Maybe just 1 or 2 got confused about when to wake up. Maybe early risers and more will come soon.

Remembered I haven't been medicated for months. First because you can't combine adderall with oxycodone. Then because extracting contents from caplets to mix with liquid and syringe into my system is a pain in the ass, and because you shouldn't do that with extended release pills
