I got a new book! It didn't fit… so I ended up reorganizing my "primary" gaming bookshelf (and side-pile) and moving some stuff off to secondary bookshelves.
I'm simultaneously really happy with the reorg., & really sad that i'm not playing cool games with anyone these days.
I just don't have it in me to be the GM anymore & no-one else in my old gaming crew seems interested, even in running rules-light options.
🤔 Maybe I could convince them to do GM-less Starforged…
Edge Studious bought ( ?became responsible for? ) the #Genesys RPG 5 years ago.
The game is literally unplayable without its custom dice.
Since then they have made precisely ZERO sets of dice available for purchase.
But don't worry. They're really committed to Genesis. According to them it lets you "Craft your games with unparalleled freedom!"

TIL that the cool display font 9th Level Games uses in their Mazes stuff is called Ruslan Display and it's distributed under an open font license and free for commercial use.
I did too many things yesterday and now parts of me hurt that I really wish didn’t hurt. I have taken a Tylenol and have gone outside to rest in the hammock and enjoy the gorgeous weather with the black dog.

I think Mazes is a brilliant low-crunch game.

Normally, I wouldn't care about something like this. But i *love* the monsters they've created so far in the main book, and the whole approach is _wonderfully simple_.
There are some ways in which Mazes (Polymorphy really) is _too_ simple, but also there are SO many brilliant ideas in what they've created for Mazes: character creation, monsters, etc.
I seem to recall that X years ago #Kickstarter was being extra shitty, and someone set up an indie alternative to #ZineQuest

@downey@floss.social Long ago, in the days of ie6 we learned the very important lesson of NEVER testing for user agent string. It's WAY too likely to go wrong. Instead, test if the current browser supports the specific feature(s) you need. There are (or at least were) many articles about how to go about this.
