Building and learning stuff, because I'm curious. I enjoy thinking from first principles.
Currently working on:
- real-time chatting, and trying to throw graph theory into the problem
- Logseq alternative, that uses the original Roam Research paradigm, before version 2.0.
Also, I'm a Honda owner

A year ago, regarding the type of stuff that I often saw employers look for regarding AI, it's usually:
- LLM API experience
- prompt engineering experience
- workflows
- vector databases and RAG
- MCP
Now it's agentic harnesses. It's all the rage.
It's all MCPs and agentic loops.

Big five: "I get a bar graph, and I don't remember what those numbers were."
Myers-Briggs (type indicator): "I get ENFJ" or "I get INTP".
Don't know about you, but it seems like Myers-Briggs, when administered, empowers people to share insights about who they are better than the big five.
I mean, don't get me wrong, if you roughly remember your big five score, I'd prefer that, but the Myers-Briggs at least is correlated with the big five, and that's good enough 🤷♂️
Yeah, when I saw this video, I immediately knew, ThePrimeagen is full of shit.
Especially the 23:34 point mark, where he criticizes Liskov's Substitution Principle (LSP).
ThePrimeagen conflates LSP with inheritance.
LSP barely gives a shit about inheritance. It cares about subtyping.
If anything, if you followed LSP to the letter, you'd be *less* inclined to go for inheritance; not more.
Solid Programming - No Thanks
Every time I post on social media in advocacy for something, not only is it just me pretty much screaming into the void (or worse, a brick wall), but if it were to be heard, it's probably just added into a sea of noise that's also shared with:
- anti-vaccine propaganda
- remigration rhetorics
- conspiracy theories
Sometimes, I feel grateful to have grown up reading blog posts from 37signals.
I just won this Sonic The Hedgehog-branded waffle iron from Rec Room at The Amazing Brentwood in Burnaby.
Like the saying goes, "every accusation is a confession", but people who say "oil companies don't want you to know" or "oil companies are hiding it from us" or "oil companies don't want EVs" seriously suck at operating a business.
