@apps@toot.fedilab.app I think it has potential, especially with events, but regardless, it's nice to see these experimental platforms, it can provide useful ideas that can be incorporated in the mainstream ones.
Latest build resets defaults because I renamed all the AppStorage paths to avoid an issue with dots, in the process also changed the gif autoplay default to false, and Bookmark/Bookmarks/Unbookmark is now Save/Saved/Unsave.

@apps@toot.fedilab.app they’re screwy that way, I think I couldn’t remove apps without updating them first which is just stupid. I ended up deleting my main google account to get rid of everything and they gave me one of those “sorry you feel that way” responses

@apps@toot.fedilab.app I think you should work in the style that best suits you, there are a lot of advice givers, not as many creators and contributors. I've created a lot of quick apps just because I felt like it, and I've found as long as there was a particular reason or vision for that app, someone else would like it (even if a lot of people didn't, but that's life on the app stores). There are only a few that I kept dabbling for the long term, up to ten years, that seems to be my limit, fedicat is in year 3

making menus big again, I was nesting submenus because recent ios versions were shrinking the max menu size but now it seems I have more room again in the timeline and context menus.
I reorged the timeline menu so that collections/lists/groups/following are grouped together in an accounts menu and hashtags has followed and recent

I think this is working, in the app custom settings you can set the home feed to save its position instead of getting the latest when the session is relaunched, uses the mastodon timeline marker api
