There's ever less desire to do the things I enjoy better, faster or more visibly than anyone else. Just to do them, learn in the process, and take pleasure in that.

@reichenstein Markdown, Asciidoc, Latex, Typst (personal favourite) -- any of this kind of text format is easier to recover than a wonky Word file. And as for things like tables, Word isn't even internally consistent. It's far too easy to break tables, image wrapping and all the rest without really doing anything wrong. At least with a text-based format you can dive in and fix rendering issues with a text editor.

@mojala @MarkAsser ah yeah, that's a good question. I guess it might come down to public opinion, which seems pretty fired-up, and how far the EU is willing to go to be the "better partner" compared to Russia in a way that makes him look good. I'd bet they're already working on that part.
