@anthropy got it inspected with microscope this monday and no signs of organic action there. did also check a film which has fungus and it is distinctively different from the film grain

should dig deeper and contact writers of the research, the film color layers has silvers & dyes are usually halogens so theres similarity..
but now concentrating on trying to get some microscope images to get more info on what it looks

@anthropy ah, those shapes are just pines, maple & birch on my yard, there's photographic image on the red layer and also on the parts of blue layer where there are no triangle patterns there's image too.

@anthropy I don't have a microscope, been asking around to find someone who would have & who would know what to look for, emailed some lecturer at university but no response yet.
Trying to swab a sample at this point from it would not confirm anything as I have handled the film by hand so much.
If you mean the black on the sides of the film, it's emulsion breaking down from moisture & maybe heat.

@slowtiger yeah the 4K scan is very good quality, and is good enough to make a release with.
But as the pattern formation is not by normal process the details are not sharp enough to see what is going on there.

@slowtiger I have 4K scans done at Helscan. First from after bw developing and second after C41 developing/film acceleration process. Working with musician for soundtrack etc, will do a release later this year.
Also looking for optical blowup to get more details out, 4K scan is not detailed enough to see the grain structures.
