There's no logical reason why the super rich can't be squeezed the way the poor are squeezed (aside from embedded power structures obv). Cheer for and comply with higher taxes or get your billions expropriated, I'd say. The converse is less visible: If billionaires aren't making their extreme profits, it means there is more wealth and more equality/margin left in society. Its a zero-sum game, for the line to go up, resources go down for everyone else. If the line goes down, there is more to go around. Even if current metrics don't (want to) measure it. Another view: The super-rich is literally and extractively mining people as a resource.

Price point, out of the box performance, etc. Almost everyone I interacted with in the 3d printing community was saying don't worry about the closed source nature of the printer (or at least that was my recollection).
