"Blessed are the cracked for they let the light shine in" ~ Spike Milligan.

Pronouns he/him/his.

In the end, all that matters is:
* how gently you lived?
* how much you loved?
* how well did you learn to let go of things not meant for you?

#Joke #Humour A shrewd antique dealer from London was driving through the Somerset countryside when he stopped for petrol. As he walked past a run-down cottage, he noticed a stray tabby cat drinking milk from a shallow saucer on the porch. The dealer took one look at the saucer and nearly stopped breathing. It was genuine Ming dynasty porcelain, worth at least £25,000. Determined to make the deal of his life, he knocked on the door. An elderly man answered. “Good afternoon, sir. I couldn’t help noticing that lovely cat on your porch. My mother has been terribly lonely lately, and he looks just like a cat she had when she was young. Would you take £20 for him?” The old man scratched his beard. “Aye, lad. That sounds fair enough.” The dealer handed him £20 and picked up the cat. After taking a couple of steps, he turned back casually. “Oh, by the way, would you mind throwing in that old saucer? The cat’s used to drinking from it, so it might help him settle in.” The old man chuckled. “Not on your life, mate. That’s my lucky saucer. I’ve sold thirty-four cats from this porch just this month alone.”

#Joke #Humour A CEO walks into his office and sees a man sitting on a sofa, scrolling through his phone. The CEO asks, “What are you doing?” The man replies, “Just wasting time until I get paid.” Furious, the CEO demands, “What’s your weekly salary?” “$1,000,” the man answers. The CEO pulls out $2,000, hands it to the man, and says, “Here. Take this money and get out! You don’t work here anymore!” Without a word, the man takes the money and leaves. A few moments later, the CEO walks over to the receptionist and asks, “By the way, who was that guy?” The receptionist replies, “The pizza delivery driver.”

#joke #Humour #NSFW One evening a farmer decided to go down to the pond, as he hadn’t been there for a while, and look it over. He grabbed two buckets to bring back some fruit. As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee. As he came closer, he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny dipping in his pond. He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end of it. One of the women shouted to him, "We're not coming out until you leave!" The farmer frowned, "I didn't come down here to watch you ladies swim naked or make you get out of the pond naked." Holding the bucket up he said, "I'm here to feed the crocodile”.

#Joke #Humour A minister decided that a visual demonstration would add emphasis to his Sunday sermon. He placed four worms in four separate jars The first worm was put into a jar of Jack Daniels. The second worm was put into a container filled with cigarette smoke.  The third worm was put into a container of Hershey's chocolate syrup.  The fourth worm was put into a container of pure, clean soil.  At the conclusion of the sermon, the Minister reported the following results: First worm in alcohol . . . . . . Dead. Second worm in cigarette smoke.....Dead. Third worm in chocolate syrup.....Dead. Fourth worm in clean soil......ALIVE! So, the Minister asked the congregation, "What does this demonstration teach us?" A 70 year-old lady sitting in the back raised her hand and said, "As long as you drink, smoke, and eat chocolate, you'll never get worms."

I experienced the WORST customer service today at a store in town

I don't want to mention the name of the store because I'm not sure how I'm going to proceed. Friday I bought something from this store. I paid cash for it. Got home and found out it didn't work. So I took it back to the store and asked if I could get a refund. The girl in the store told me “NO” even though I still had the receipt. I asked if I could get a replacement instead then. Again this person told me "NO." I asked to talk to a manager now as I'm really not happy and I explained that I had just bought the item, had got it home and it didn't work. The manager just smiled and told me to my face that I was "OUT OF LUCK." No refund. No FREE replacement. Grrrrrrrrr. I'll NEVER buy another lottery ticket from them again.

Age brings wisdom

A cruel pet owner abandons his old dog in the deepest jungles of Africa. Wandering around, the poor old dog notices a leopard coming rapidly in his direction with the intention of having lunch.

Just then, the old dog noticed some bones laying on the ground close by.
The dog immediately settles down to chew on the bones turning his back to the approaching leopard.

Just as the leopard is about to leap, the dog loudly says:
"My, that was one delicious leopard! I wonder if there are any more around here?"

Hearing this, the leopard slinks away.
"That was too close," thought the leopard, "that dog nearly had me."

Meanwhile, a mischievous monkey had observed the entire scene, and decided to cause trouble for the dog, while getting on the good side of the leopard as well.

The monkey dashed off after the leopard, to tell him what truly happened.

The dog saw the monkey dash off, and suspiciously tailed him from behind.

He overhears the monkey spilling the beans, and quickly decides on a course of action, racing back to the pile of bones.

At the same time, the leopard has decided to take care of the dog once and for all.

The monkey hops on the leopard's back, to watch the demise of the doomed dog.

As the leopard approaches, he can hear the dog talking to himself:
"Where's that lazy monkey? I sent him off half an hour ago for another leopard, and he's still not back!"

It was my first time

I went skydiving for the first time today.

A guy strapped himself to me, and we jumped out of the plane.

As we were plummeting, he yells, “So…”

“How long have you been an instructor?”

#Joke #Humour

An older gentleman was being tailgated by a stressed-out lady on a busy street.

Suddenly, the light turned yellow just ahead of him, and he did the right thing; he stopped at the crosswalk to allow the waiting pedestrians cross. 🚦

The lady behind him lost it. She battered the horn, yelling and gesturing wildly because she missed her chance to make the light.

In the middle of her rant, there was a tap on her window. She looked up to see a police officer. 👮‍♂️

She was taken to the police station and placed in a holding cell.

A couple of hours later, the officer opened the door and said,

“I’m very sorry for the mistake, ma’am, let me explain. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and shouting cuss words I, even as a police officer, have never heard before.

Then I noticed the ‘What Would Jesus Do?’ bumper sticker, the ‘Follow Me to Sunday School’ sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish on the trunk. 🐟✝️

Naturally… I assumed the car was stolen.”
