I think this was weirdly common everywhere, you can see this throughout the US as well, just look at Interstate 55 in St Louis which cuts through the city, and there are some where the clearing was done and the road was never built. For a while there, its like there was no price too high to pay for putting roads through.

I don't think people realize just how much you can save with an electric car, I do gig work last mile package delivery (think UPS's job done with DoorDash style drivers), and from 18 Mar to 16 Apr I used $35 dollars to charge my car according to my electric utility, and in that time I drove 1733 miles. Imagine doing that driving in a gas powered car.

@FediTips@social.growyourown.services isn't this word for word the same scam we had on Mastodon?

Not sure it shouldn't be, the experiment clearly failed, so maybe a handful of smaller countries? Maybe one or two will learn from the mistakes.

Not sure if'n they sell outside of the US, they're who I'll be trying at some point when I need new shoes
You know how you always forget things on a trip?
Well to combat that, I made a list and didn't forget anything… On the list, however I did forget to put deodorant and cash on that list. Latter won't cause any problems, its just estate sale money that I should've banked a month ago, but didn't because this trip was coming up, I don't need it, but it'd've been nice to have. Deodorant is obvious why that's a problem… Hmm, wonder if'n I can find an Ollies between here and Huntsville?
Only other problem we're having is a hyperactive touchpad on this laptop, wonder if'n there's a way to fix that in Linux, it isn't an option in the Mint touchpad settings panel

Modifying it might not be hard, my Bolt has a low speed sound, so assuming its effectively a beeper/sound maker, and not a speaker playing a sound generated by the computer, should just be a part swap. If its a speaker, maybe there's enough voltage to trigger a relay?

No reason to be, but since you said you have one, Wafrn is a Fediverse alternative to Tumblr, though if'n you ask me it looks more like a mutant cross between Tumblr and Twitter, that's fully Bluesky compatible, so you can link your existing Bluesky account, and post once on the Fediverse and reach both.

Not a big fan m'self, except for the MLP crossover fan fics, but if'n I'm going to do anything with HP, books and movies, used so she doesn't get any money from it. Anything bought new, only the original series to reward that cast as they're decent people, which is likely why she created the reboot.
