portland update: the chance that you will walk into the park on a sunny day and hear a band playing Bella Ciao is significantly greater than zero

Any blind iOS users know of Telegram clients that are at least somewhat more accessible than the official one? To be blunt, the official telegram app on iphone is the worst chat client that I've ever used that's not just straight up blank to Voiceover. I have a few groups I talk to on Telegram and I'd like to make that experience a little less painful

PNW update: I'm tripping over queers, there are so many up here. I have literally tripped over a fellow queer at least once
So I pulled out my old Origen G2 amp DAC and I'm now using it since I no longer have a mixer to plug into. It sounds decent, but there's one critical problem: the internals shut off when there's silence and cut off several words of my screen reader. I've tried using those silent audiostream addons with no luck. As far as I can tell, this thing will shut off its internals if there is silence. It doesn't care if there's a silent audiostream. As far as it's concerned, that's the same as silence, and I lose screen reader output as a result. I can solve the problem by playing music, except the problem briefly returns when the music goes silent. It's incredibly annoying. Any blind or audio people know how I can get an audiostream going that's very nearly, but not quite, silent and just keeps humming away in the background as long as my computer is on?
Better yet, is there a way to turn off the power-saving feature of the Origen G2 so I can avoid this problem altogether? I want it to just pump out sound so long as its powered on. Power-saving features be damned.

Real fucking tired of voiceover focus jumping as I'm performing an activation gesture. Stop it. Stop moving my focus every time a new screen pops up. I do not need you to baby me around the phone. It's actively hindering my ability to get around the phone.
I'm debating whether I want to replace my phone battery and suck it up for another year, but the more I think about it, the more I realize I just absolutely despise voiceover for ios. It would infuriate me even if it wasn't abysmally slow. I need a phone that doesn't insist that there are no other elements on screen or move my focus mid-tap
I do not like habanero. It tastes like cilantro and metal. Give cayenne instead
I expect my iphone's performance to degrade, but my battery is at 75% with 79% health and it's taking multiple seconds to open a menu within the settings app. Either performance drops off way more than I think or something else is up
